VESSEL REGISTRATION
Provisional and permanent registration, change of flag, bareboat charter registration, mortgage registration, deletion certificates and transcripts of registry. We prepare the application pack, obtain the previous flag's consent and deletion, and follow the file through to the Certificate of Registry.
SEAFARER ENDORSEMENTS
Flag endorsements of STCW certificates of competency and proficiency, GMDSS endorsements, seaman's books and crew documentation, issued under each administration's procedures so crews can join without delay. Minimum Safe Manning Documents are prepared with the registration.
STATUTORY CERTIFICATION
Radio station licence, call sign and MMSI, Continuous Synopsis Record, ISM and ISPS documentation, MLC 2006 (DMLC Part I), CLC, Bunker CLC and Wreck Removal certificates. We coordinate with the owner's class society and P&I club so nothing lapses, including the arrangements oil and chemical tankers require.

Tell us the vessel's type, age, class and intended trade and we will advise which of the flags we represent fits, what it costs and how long it takes. Vessels from oil and chemical tankers to inland vessels and yachts; IACS societies and other Recognized Organizations accepted by the flag.
HOW A REGISTRATION RUNS
Vetting
Ownership and management documents, sanctions and port state control history, class status and age checked against the flag's rules.
Provisional registration
Application lodged with consent and deletion from the previous flag, class and P&I confirmations. Provisional Certificate of Registry, radio licence and call sign issued; the vessel can trade.
Statutory certificates
Minimum Safe Manning, CSR, ISM, ISPS and MLC documentation and liability certificates coordinated with the Recognized Organization and P&I club.
Permanent registration
Title documents, deletion certificate, tonnage and survey records lodged. Permanent Certificate of Registry issued; renewals tracked from then on.
FOR FLAG ADMINISTRATIONS
Ship Standards acts as Deputy Registrar and Registry Agent for administrations that want a professional front office in Europe: a known address in Rotterdam, an executive office in Istanbul for the Turkish and Black Sea market, a documented vetting and application process with files kept for audit, and a team that applies SOLAS, MARPOL, Load Line, STCW, MLC 2006, ISM and ISPS daily across four registries. We bring an existing owner base and a pipeline of further tonnage.
